Join Lucy Smith, a local kairaranga (weaver), as she guides you through the process of weaving a basic Māori kite (manu aute / manu tukutuku) from traditional materials. Come and learn some traditional weaving techniques to celebrate Matariki – your creation would make a perfect wall hanging to take away!
All materials provided. Children must be supervised.
